Khadijah Abdul-Aleem
- My name is Khadijah Abdul-Aleem. I’m a senior in high school and will be attending CSULB as a Pre-Nursing major in the Fall. I’ve lived in LA for all of my life, and I’ve always been a lover of all things that have to do with technology. I was using AOL, with dial-up, logging on to Barbie.com, when I was 5. I’ve always been the one that my family came to with computer problems. When the tech guys would come to my house to fix the computer, I’d always hang around and watch what they were doing.
My name is Daniel but you can call me DK. I like biking and I completed the LA Acura Marathon in an hour and nineteen minutes. I am a total gear head so I like pulling things apart and seeing how they work, and I like to see if I can fix broken things. At 17, I started my freshman year in college and am now preparing to start an online business selling sewed goods with the help of a new sewing machine I recently fixed.

Leslie Gauna

- I am 17 years old and a senior in high school. I am currently attending Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, and I have been in the Inside Out Community Arts program for about 7 years. I may not be the best at this tech stuff but I am ready to learn new things and help out anyone who is having trouble. Well I love to dance
Eric Gonzalez
- I’ve been in “Inside Out Community Arts” for about 5 years. This art program has helped me a lot through out my life. And now with this new branch from Inside Out, TMI, the opportunity to be helped will now be open to everyone. People now a days, are constantly running into trouble with computers and electronics and usually, I’m the first person that my friends and family call when they need technical assistance. I have experience with setting up computers, phones, cameras, online accounts etc. I love helping people with their troubles when it comes to computers or any other sort of electronic problem. To me one of the most important things when it comes to working on any electronic, is having patients and keep trying until you get it right. With “TMI” I get to do the two things that i like to do, work with electronics and help people. But for me the best part of all this, is that I get to make people’s lives a little bit easier, and relieve a little more stress everyday.
Aisha Abdul-Aleem

- Hi My Name is Aisha Abdul-Aleem I’m 14 years old in the 10th grade.
- I’ve been with the Inside Out program for 3 years & one year as an alumni mentor.
- I love the internet. If I could spend all day doing something it would be on the computer, because there are so many different things to do sometimes I have to get a hold of myself because the internet is so addicting you can set your mind to go do one thing on the computer and end up doing one in a million things, so now my mom is starting to make me limit the amount of time I spend on computers. Since I can’t spend that much time on the computer in my spare time I like to go shopping, but not for clothes, for purses.
Danielle Petrella

- I am 16 and starting college two years early in the fall. I spend my free time being a mentor in Inside Out, acting, and playing songs on the piano while I sing. A strange hobby of mine is making mandalas. I find it relaxing and am amazed anew at how each one is so unique. I prefer outdoors to indoors. I get it from my dad who mountain bikes at 50 years old. I live by the thought that life is what you make it yourself through every act, thought, and spoken word.
